![]() I just think it gets hate for existing more than anything. Ultimate Tenkaichi isn't as bad as they say. I can only imagine how much of a dream come true this is for absolute DBZ fans. I remember some people saying how they want to create the DB Multiverse characters in the game. Also unlike UT, we will have female characters which ought to give the game more diversity in creating your dream character. character creation! We have Humans, Saiyans, Namekians, and a whole lot more. Characters from Dragon Ball Online will make their debut for all of us in the West, which is even better because we'll be seeing some new things. The fact that the story of the series can be changed due to player actions is the best. It didn't quite live up as a console game, but Battle of Z is a good game for your PS Vita if you want the DBZ experience on the go.Īs for Xenoverse, it looks good from the preview videos and screenshots. To note: Ultimate Tenkaichi is actually named "Dragon Ball: Ultimate Blast" in Japan, so one might consider it the sequel to Raging Blast that didn't live up to it's older brother.īattle of Z was probably created to capitalize on the success of Battle of Gods, because that was the main attraction when it was announced. Furthermore, it felt like a downgrade from the amazing Raging Blast games. ![]() I suppose it's because UT has something of an incomplete character creation. Most of the players that play DBZ fighters abhor Ultimate Tenkaichi with a passion. They were good for a while but the main problem is they never had any charm which made us go back to the game. I can't say I ever hated Ultimate Tenkaichi or Battle of Gods. Your thoughts on said game and recent titles? What has been your favorite? TL DR I'm really enjoying DBZ: Ultimate Tenkaichi. They're nowhere near enough powerful to even touch him. I don't want to fight Frieza with the help of Krillin and Gohan. Clunky and slow gameplay and terrible story mode. I also picked up Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z and can quite honestly say it's possibly the WORST Dragon Ball Z game I've ever played. I like the idea to create a fully customizable character but I'm not sure how I feel about alternate time-lines and stuff. Did everyone hate this game or was it a mixed reactions? I'm not sure what to make of Xenoverse. The music gets a bit annoying after a while so I turned it off. I also enjoy the ability to Guard, Dodge or Intercept, just as a Z Fighter would have to decide. ![]() I love being able to switch between Melee and Blast Range. I will admit that some of the cinematics become quite samey after a while, I do really enjoy the break-neck Fast-pacedness of the gameplay. Sure the Story Mode isn't great, but I love the action in the fights. I picked up Ultimate Tenkaichi recently and quiet honestly I'm really enjoying it. A game where the essence of Dragon Ball Z is captured and brought to your fingertips.īefore playing Ultimate Tenkaichi, the other DBZ gamwes I owned and enjoyed were DBZ Budokai 3 (PS2) and Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (Also PS2) We all want the perfect Dragon Ball Z game. What is the consensus on this game? I've heard a lot of the recent Dragon Ball Z games received a lot of flak, due to bad gameplay, story telling and general game mechanics.
